First Thursdays have been a long time staple and tradition in the San Pedro artist community. Recently there has been a new addition, Food Trucks. San Pedro's food trucks have created a unique experience for food lovers. Not only do you get a wide variety of cuisine to choose from, you are also surrounded by local galleries and studios. The San Pedro Food Trucks have become a part of the First Thursday culture; live music, art, and a wide range of delectable meals to choose from. 

 

A favorite truck among First Thursday goers is 'The Grilled Cheese Truck'. According to the Conde Nast Traveler, 'The Grilled Cheese Truck' has the "best mac and cheese in the country".  Although food trucks can change their locations from night to night, some can be found faithfully parked in the same place as last month's First Thursday. So if you see a truck serving fusion food, pastries or old fashioned grilled cheeses don't be afraid to give it a try before it moves on to other food lovers around the city.
