Although the physical boundary of the SPACE District is Fourth Street to the North, Harbor Boulevard to the East, Eighth Street to the South, and Pacific Avenue to the West, the artist community in San Pedro extends far beyond the historic downtown core. Individual visual and performing artists' studios are spread throughout the San Pedro neighborhoods. Angels Gate Cultural Center in Point Fermin features galleries, performance and classroom space. And area restaurants and performance venues beyond the SPACE District, such as Alva's Showroom, enhance San Pedro's entertainment scene.
